Gabriel Park Veterinary Clinic is a locally owned small animal practice in southwest Portland, dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care in a comfortable, bright, modern setting. Founded in 2005 by Dr. Elizabeth “Libbi” Hawkins, our team of veterinarians, nurses, and assistants partners closely with you to create individualized plans that fit your pet’s needs and your family’s lifestyle, with an emphasis on education, prevention, and compassionate service. We offer comprehensive care for every life stage, including wellness visits, dental care, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures, always guided by our mission to deliver the highest quality care and service in a caring environment.
Support Staff
At Gabriel Park Veterinary Clinic, your four-legged companions are taken care of by a compassionate team of trained professionals, including,
- Three full time Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and two part-time veterinarians who use their combined decades of experience to diagnose medical and surgical issues, perform wellness exams, dentals, spay/neuters, and soft tissue surgeries
- Three Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) who are capable of administering and monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgical procedures, taking X-rays and administering medications, and treatments for both inpatient and outpatient pets
- Two part-time CVTs with additional training and certifications in Veterinary Dentistry
- Four Veterinary Assistants who, in addition to assisting the doctors, can perform technician appointments such as nail trims, vaccinations, anal gland expressions, blood draws, and other procedures to aid in maintaining your pets health and wellbeing
- Two Kennel Technicians who ensure that your pet’s kennels are sanitized and comfortable for your animal family members stay at our clinic, in addition to keeping our clinic clean and inviting to our clients
- A team of Customer Care Specialists who make setting appointments, checking in/out, and invoicing a walk in the dog park!
